OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)

OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are a goal-setting framework used by product teams. Learn how customer feedback should influence OKR setting.

OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) is a goal-setting framework popularized by Google and used widely in product organizations. Objectives are qualitative, aspirational goals ('Become the most-loved feedback tool for SaaS teams'). Key Results are quantitative, measurable outcomes ('Achieve NPS of 60', 'Reduce feedback response time to under 24 hours').

For product teams, the best OKRs are rooted in customer evidence. Instead of setting arbitrary targets, teams should look at their feedback data to understand: - What are customers actually asking for? (informs Objectives) - Where is sentiment declining? (informs prioritization) - What measurable improvements would move the needle? (informs Key Results)

FeatureSay's Voice of Customer and AI Insights provide the customer evidence layer that should feed OKR planning. When Q1 OKRs are set based on Q4's feedback trends and sentiment data, teams build what customers need — not what sounds good in a planning meeting.
